GA Aquatic Carnival
GA Aquatic Carnival - Does anyone have any tips for working this stuff? If I use it for just adding raised decorations to a piece then I get nice blues and greens. However, if I decide to use it as the base for a piece such as a heart or pendant where I have to get it nice and molten, then I end up with this really nasty brownish green color - you know, kind of like strained peas that have already been through the baby. I am using a neutral to oxidizing flame, but I have also tried a reducing flame. It still looks like crap either way.
Thanks,
Eric

Crank your oxygen way up when you are working it. On my torch, even if I'm working it with just the inner flame, I leave the outer oxygen open.

Eric,
In addition to working with a really oxidizing flame, work hot and fast--the Carnival colors will burn out to mud when overworked.
