Default Is Northstar glass boro?

Obviously, I have never worked with either (northstar or boro), but I just bought a sample pack and was wondering what I should know about it. I work on a Bobcat torch, in case that matters. Is there anything important that I should concern myself with? I haven't torched in so long (since around New Year's), so this should be fun.

Yep. Northstar, Glass Alchemy, Precision/Pacific, and Momka's are all boro. There are also some others out there.

The main thing to know is not to be afraid of it. You'll have to work closer to the torch face than you are used to with soft glass. Don't be afraid to get it hot. It likes to be hot. It will take longer to melt than you are used to as well.
