Lampwork/beadmaking magazine
I want to subscribe to a lampworking/beadmaking magazine, but I have no idea what is out there and what is any good. So, wich magazine do you recommend, and why?
Oh, and it has to have an option of international shipping, as I live in Norway.

I like GlassLine http://www.hotglass.com and The Flow http://www.theflowmagazine.com myself. I haven't seen many others.
Lapidary Journal used to have some projects on lampwork beads, but I dropped my subscription to them a couple years ago when they became a 80% bead magazine instead of jewelry and lapiday.

By any chance, do you read German? If so, there is a glass lampworking/beadmaking magazine published in Germany:
http://www.ig-glaswerk.de/Vorsicht%21Glas%21.html
I have the first three issues available here in the States, if anyone is interested.

I love the Flow Magazine. Wil, Jennifer, Didi, Maureen, etc. are extremely talented and friendly, and active in the lampwork community. The magazine just keeps getting better and better.

I do love my subscription to Soda Lime Times! There is always something for every level of skill.
There is a sample issue that you can download for free, I believe.
Good luck!

The Flow is wonderful eye candy and I do like to check it out, but if you're a beginner it might not really be a lot of help.
Agree that for both beginners or any other skill level Soda Lime Times is wonderful because it's packed w/tutorials. It's on-line so you don't have to worry about mail delays to overseas, you just download. http://www.sodalimetimes.com/

It looks like they moved it to a Facebook page ...
https://www.facebook.com/Lampwork.Glasperlen
There's also a great lampworking magazine out of Japan called Lammaga
https://ja-jp.facebook.com/LampworkMagazine
I have almost all of these issues in stock.

The Flow is really an awesome mag. Lots of info ! And actually Glass Line is equally as good. I have received both for a long time and always look forward to the next issue.

It is just online though. I like some issues of the Flow, but others cover all large boro projects.

I would also get the SLT magazine- it's the best for us soft glass people, the only magazine now. I've been so disappointed in The Flow and Glass Line- it's all boro and I've written to complain. I just give it away. http://www.sodalimetimes.com/ Get it!!!
