Default November Show & Tell

Hi, I'll kick off this month's pictures with my sea turtle pendant
with it's 'tide pool' implosion shell. The second photo is a close
up of the tide pool implosion. What have you made to show us?
Thanks, Cynthia in Australia

Very cool Cynthia!

Here are a few of mine from the weekend. Still working on figuring out color combinations.

Cynthia, The Sea turtle is really cool, that is a lot of detail work in the shell.
Cori, really cool flowers!
Marcel, I love the softness of the sandblasted? elements in those pendants!

Some beads from me, lots of my favorite Glass Alchemy colors, and of course NS Yellow!

except for yours, Marcel, it's all terrible and horrible, but I can't put my finger on why, I think you will need to send me those pendants so i can have a closer examination and work out what's wrong with them ...

here's another creepy Alien mib, this one's sparkly ooooh and shiny ooooh ... and no problems with the sparkle this time yay

Wow outstanding glass everyone! The color in those beads.... Yummm.

Here's what crawled out of the kiln this morning. A special order for a neighbor, my apologies to Mark Ryden.

I'm using this marble as the knob for the lid of a synth controller I built (MFOS == Music From Outer Space, where I got the blank PCBs for the project.).

I don't have anything to show, but I do have a tell.

Acroduster has sold his studio.

He is a very good glass artist and inspired me to get into glass. Here is a link to his Youtube channel for those of you who have never seen his work or heard his advice.

^^^ Why has he sold his studio? Sold like, "eh, I made some extra cash by selling my studio" or sold like "eh, I'm a landscaper now cause I sold my studio."

Malem, I saw some of your dragons in the Glass line magazine. Very cool and I'm glad my tutorial helped you.

Default A couple from the kiln

My crayon colors got a little hot on the one. I'm going to have to figure out what colors (or another mfg) to use for some of the bright colors. I can encase them, but would rather not. Anyhow, here is what I came up with...

^^^^ SHIFTY PENDANTS, I love shifty pendants.

(try turning your air and gas DOWN, like way down. Try 2.5 and 20 see if you like that. Also the 'darker' crayon colors are a little easier to deal with IMO, so that's yellow more difficult, chocolate/raven much less difficult)
