Pretty cool.

I need to look up this word "simple". Vizzini and I have something in common.

I was able to get a couple pendants done before the ice storm. The cats wanted to help.

That is one lovely Jellyfish! I love how the little air traps look in the tentacles.
Good one Bernhard, nice to see you post, & yes we are kind of irresistible aren't we?

Fumijelly? I like that. Glad to see you posting again. I had a show yesterday, and I sold more jellyfish than anything else. I'll have to try a fumi this weekend.

It's been a while since I made a Jelly. Here is one w/ gold/silver tentacles, and Loki's lipstick on top. I think I might try to kiln strike this to get the top darker.

Bernhard, it's the overflow of the top down over the tentacles. That's why I want to kiln strike it, to see if the color changes in the pendant.

Those are nice Dave, & love that jellyfish, let us know if it changes in the kiln.
In California we are having record high temps and no rain at all, they are talking
about rationing water in our area. Just remember, there is no such thing as
"Global Warming" yes right. Some pretty phenomenal weather going on these days.

Dave, those turned out wonderful. I love the first one best, because it is off-set and radiates upwards, framed by golden petals - magic!

Bernhard, I have to admit, the first pendant was an attempt at a wigwag. Thank the glass gods for pleasant mistakes! I did like how it turned out.

Hey Mary, I hope you guys get some rain soon!

dlando1 ~ Was the "wig wag" based on the "simple implosion" technique Bernhard shared some time ago?

It was based on Bernhard's technique, but I screwed up and it got off center. I need a refresher course!

Thanks Bernhard. Do you use a blow tube when you do your tube implosions? I'm thinking that I would have more control with one. What do you think. -Dave

I never use a blow tube - don't need one - I want the glass to condense to solid. Just use a smallish flame to keep control - looks to me like you work very hot. I am a fan of slow and controlled - might take longer, but noone cares how long it took, only how good it looks.

So this is a cooler worked gold fumed 'simple' implosion? Very striking. Love the colors.
