Default Jam and Crib

I almost hate to post here for what might happen next...
Of course I'm in! I'll be there Sat and not sure when I'm leaving Sunday. I'll be bringing Slutty Brownies for dessert. Not sure what I'll bring in addition but it won't be cabbage! I'll bring wine for sure and something for snacking.

Now, I'm not sure if you are aware but I also play cribbage so I don't know who has the crown but I'm willing to take it!

Better get organizing for what I'm going to bring.

Looking forward to a trip to Rockland!! Ahhhh....summer is on it's way!

Kristi

Do you want to wake up to green hair? Don't even think of it! Duane is going to cry and that's the end of it! There is no game Plan B for making you cry, too!

I'm not sure what I'm bringing yet. I'm thinking about it though.... maybe green cake balls? They could be mint on the outside and chocolate on the inside? Wheat free, of course. We'll have to see.

Ladies LADIES!! Listen up! Since I'm going to be one of the few guys there its only fitting that I gain the crown there and LEAVE with it intact!

I really really need this weekend away. I'm so tired right now... work is wearing on me right now. The weekend away will revitalize me and
bitch-slappin' Duane will be the icing on the cake.

OK, all kidding aside, I do need to spend the weekend with glass buds. I will see you all Saturday.

I just ordered a spare dewar of liquid oxygen, so come one... come all. There should be lots of glassiness, fire, food, friendship (despite the cribbage war-talk), fun, and a great escape from the mundaness of the real world.

I am SOOO in the zone for a glassy getaway. I never knew that ADULTS, at a federal place of employment, could act as such little snivelly bratty children until this week. Such flippin' drama too! Sheesh!!

ONE MORE DAY! Yah I've taken Friday off but don't know if I'll be travelling Friday or early Saturday morning.

I WILL BE THERE!

Duane

Hello Glassy Eyed Ladies and Gents...
Just found this thread, and I am threatening to show up this weekend. Dan Grumbling is sending my birthday (March 14) marble mold which should arrive on Saturday, so I can use it on Sunday.
I am a definite arrival for Sunday, and a "maybe" for Saturday. Will bring creme brulée plus whatever else I can cook up.
Duane, sorry I can't sleep with you, but my husband is very conservative and the most wonderful man I could be married to. But if there was an empty bed at the Granite Inn and it would not jeopardize my marriage, I would consider it.

Pam, it didn't occur to him to be scared of you... If he had only known....
Looking forward to seeing all of you, and I'm having fun now putting together a gift for the raffle.
Can't decide whether to work in boro (as in "boro bitch") or soft glass. You made such fun beads last time, Pam, with your copper foil and the soft glass...

Sonje, we will miss you.

Deb, so glad you can make it, and we will keep an eye on the journal, right?! Pam has been practicing her phrasing of "boro bitch"... she's primed. We must celebrate March Birthdays! You, me and Sam... who else? Creme Brulee makes a PERFECT birthday "cake" in my book!

Kristi, oooh slutty brownies and wine... the entree and the desert I love you Kristi.

Duane said, "I never knew that ADULTS, at a federal place of employment, could act as such little snivelly bratty children until this week. Such flippin' drama too! Sheesh!!" Now Duane, I know Sue can be rather boastful about that cribbage... oh wait, you're not talking about Sue are you...?... (heehee)...it should be verrrrry interesting... but I don't expect you will have to sleep in the car. Just let Sue win, and I will enforce the new HOUSE RULE: The Cribagge Winner Must Give Up Bed to Cribbage Loser (Duane, you can pay me later). There, it's settled. lol! Besides, Kristi and Pam are gonna give Sue a run for the money, too, so don't you be worrying none. It'll be juuuuuuust fine.

It looks like everyone is planning on Sat-Sun... we'll see you all then!
I'm working on a submission for the ISGB 'Indelible' show -- it has to be sent by tomorrow. Wish me luck! The leg and the knee are acting up on me. I will be dragging a bit, I fear... but nothing that creme brulee and wine won't fix. bwahahaha..........!

Shards! Thanks for reminding me! I made some Terra 2.1 shards the other day for this weekend. I need to bag them up.

Default jam and Crib

Sonje, sorry you will not be here...will miss you. Have a glass of wine Sat night and know we will too!

The Chicken is marinating, Spinach Salad will be made in the am. Brownies are out of the oven and ready for cutting. I have chips and Salsa; cream cheese, hot jelly & crackers. Haven't packed my bag or my glass yet. Wine....haven't packed that yet either! Yikes, laundry in finishing up now. I will definitely NOT be there at 9am....I'm hoping to be on the road by then!

Looking forward to seeing everyone......

Good Night until tomorrow

Kristi- you put me to shame! All I did was make gluten free sweet and sour meatballs.... I'm a slacker!

I'm about to head out. Will grab something on the way. This means I won't be there til at least 9:30 but I am on my way.

As much as I hate to, I'm leaving the dishwasher going... or not. I'd better turn it off. I don't need to come home to the first flood of my life in the kitchen. It would be my luck too. Off to turn off the dishwasher, grab the meatballs, load the car and I'm on my way.
