so many colors I love dissed. Hated aurora when i first tried it, love it now. I use it in frit form ecasing some of it leaving some exposed. encased i get greens and other colors, exposed mostly rusty red. Blue carmel, same thing, green encased and a gold mirror when exposed to the flame. Just keep that o2 way up intill the very end, then reduce then o2, then reduce again. keep going back and forth till u can clearly see your refection.
And how can you hate spring luster-spring greens, blues and purples all rolled into one!

Thanks for the tip on Blue Carmel, I hadn't tried it yet, was a bit intimidated.......I hate when they go all poopy brown on me! Sounds like the reduction on this one is awesome!

Samma, the workshop idea is super! Boro is such an investment in time and $$$'s that playing around with it and coming up with poopy stuff makes one want to stick with the tried and true and not experiment at all! However, every now and then I get brave and try a new color from my sampler pack, or re-try one that wouldn't play nice before just to see if it will give me a break and bless me with nice colors! It is such a triumphant feeling when it works!

i think it's the green from winship, not 100% though, since there is no flick.

You probably know this, but just in case I'll say it again: there are very few greens that can be used for implosions (the chrome changes the COE slightly and it cracks when encased). Colors with heavy doses of sparkle often crack when imploded as well.
My brain has gone blank on the names of the greens that CAN be imploded... can someone help me out?

First attempt a blue/carmel yesterday.......no mirrors but fairly pleasing blue/carmel coloring. Must play some more.........
P.S. Lana, I tried Magic Mirror in a plain bead to see if I could seduce the colors out of it........lost the magic! I'll only be using it in raised stringer application as a rule, that seems to be where the colors pop!

I use the Chinese green daily; it's a must have around; you tossed me for a loop with the word 'mint'.
