I figured I'd ask the Collective Wisdom before getting all complicated and wasting my time.
I've collected little bits of dichro for years, about the size of #1 frit or slightly larger. I've made stringer with it a few times, but it scums pretty easily. Yesterday I was at the local studio, and there were a few fusers talking, and a possible light bulb went off. Could I spread the dichro bits on a glass sheet and melt it in, then cut the strips to make beads? Would too much air get trapped?
Thanks for your thoughts!
