Thank you! I never thought I'd try something like this but your tutorial really breaks it down perfectly. You make it look so easy and the end result is stunning! And all this info for FREE
You're the best, David

OMG what an AWESOME tutorial! Very clear and understandable. I can see glass shocking, popping, and flying all over my studio as I visualize my attempt! What fun to try!

I've seen something similiar to this somewhere where they place the petals on a hot plate. Does anybody know if this would work.
PS....btw That tutorial is awesome and the flowers are gorgeous.

Very nice tutorial! Looks simple, but I know it's really not. What temp. do you keep your kiln on for soft glass garaging and enameling? I'm having trouble with petal breakage. Thank You for your time.

Hi David, just found your tut, I have been making roses using similar method to you with a few differences.
I made the petals on small punties & do not anneal them – they are thin enough not to crack (soft glass petals are cooled under a fibre blanket & the rose bud kiln annealed before I make the rest of the flower & annealing a second time)
I prefer to use boro for roses – little/no risk of the bud cracking while it is being made & only one annealing the whole flower is made.
