Default Who knows what color this is? NEED HELP FINDING IT!

I asked Brent and he thinks it might be Cinnabar and I thought he might be right, but this color gets more rusty brown than that now that I look at it.
an anyone please help me find out what this is. I gotta have more of this beautiful color. It's awesome!

Chestnut...an effetre colour?

I picked up a cane of chestnut a couple of years ago and it's the same cinnamony brown...never found a use for it myself.

I have a rod that looks just like that and its labeled NS-43.
North star rust? It was given to me and sounds like the same stuff

You guys are AMAZING!! I love you love you love you!! That was IT! NS Rust striking rod !!
Yippie.

I am using it for the exoskeleton and fins on my Majestic Sea Horse Series like this one for the fin.

That little short was all I had left and it was gifted to me and wasn't labels.

If that's how butterscotch, caramel or silver strike is supposed to come out, I think I'm doing it wrong - although the unstruck part of the rod is sort of caramellish I suppose.

I think I misinterpreted exactly where this color is used without mixing it.
The fin on this sea horse's back is straight rust from the rod in my first post. The exo texture is mixed carmel strike and rust from that rod.. Interesting mix of colors on the texture.

I ordered a pound of the rust after I talked to ABR and showed them the rod. They agree, it's NS 43 Rust.
That color is just fabulous when you strike it, cool it and then strike it again really hard.

Thanks so much you guys. I have all the other colors some of you have mentioned and non of those strike like that.
I'm loving how the carmel and rust mixed together react.

I used it in the Pendant Sea Horse too.

Ta daaaa! YES, It most definitely S NS 43 RUST. I just got my order in of this color and that's it for sure. I put the tip in the flame and it's exactly the same.. YAY!!!!
Thank you to EVERYONE who recognized this color and those who tried to help!! I now have a pound of it and I'm ready... lol
