Thought I'd share a flower I was able to make this week. All fume with black backing.

Finally, I got the perfect blue. This is the "electric blue" I always wanted to get. I could try a thousand times and not get it again. This is "my blue"! This one is not for sale!

Beautiful fume work. It's a shame I'm so busy working on getting stuff for a show this Saturday... I seem to remember one of you guys had a couple tutorials up on their personal website on how to make cool twisted fume pendants...Maybe next week In the meantime keep up the good work!

Hey Jeremy, On page 3 of this thread, Onekura posted a YouTube vid #84. Also check out his post #83 for applying fume to glass. He is a master, just check out his glass.

Bunyip, if you are talking about my old, very simple tut, it is not there anymore because I closed down my website. I can post it here, but it is very poor and only for total beginners. But the pendant actually looked good and has a nice sparkle in the sun

Yep, Bernard, that's the one I was thinking. I made one of those, it came out very nice.
Thanks for reposting.

Just went back through this thread, those honeycombs are amazing too. I've never had any luck with that tech. I've tried fuming the inside and the outside and I never have had any luck. I need to ambush a 'comb master and make them demo, I'm sure that I'm doing something stupid that ruins them.!

I think it looks great. A beginner like myself would love to have a pendant come out that nicely.
I made a quick page for the tutorial here:
https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/...tTutorial.html
If you want me to take it down, OneKura, let me know and I will. I put a link to your Facebook page at the top.

Hey PaPi, did you fume that pendant in multiple stages? It is beautiful. Here are a few that I just pulled out of the kiln.

Dave, nice works! I like the second one best.
And about my pendant, yes, it consists of two parts. One is raticello (or opposing spiral. I don't know the exact name for that) with heavy silver fume and the other is flower like part with heavy gold fume and a bit of silver fume. I fumed gold first and place 6 dots around the center and fumed silver before placing other dots. After I finished the both parts, I put them together with an opal between them.

My tubing implosion game is SO off... I can't get nice blooms or "shark teeth". It's been so long since I made them and for some reason it's NOT like riding a bicycle for me. Practice practice practice.

OK Bernard, now you have to make a fumed dragons eye in a compression flower. Oh yeah, and w/ an opal in it, while hopping on one foot. Nice pendant by the way.

Using only a Bic lighter for a torch.
Nice fumes, all.

I might be able to handle the eye-implotion (havn't got an opal), but the Bic lighter . . .
Anyways thanks for the comments. I have been busy doing those eyes and my idea was to do an eye with scales arround it. Doing scales proved to be a challange. I have many eyes with all sorts of scales looking at me. I dedicated one bottle of oxy to make eyes and it has spiraled off to many new ideas. Here is another one with fumed scales - front and back - trying to get that reptile look
