Very pretty Val. I like the colors in the first and the patterns on the second.

Great show so far this month! Sandy I *love* that focal!

Cool stuff Y'all!

I think I found a new favorite color combo for me. This seashell was made with Ivory blush as the base and then rolled in dark multi frit.

And here's one with purple luster as the base and dark multi frit for the spots.

Lastly a striped seahorse.

Enjoy!

nice sparklies,
and the dragonflies are cool, too, I like the fat one, I wouldn't want to run into him in a dark alley ... not that I'm prone to hanging out in dark alleys, mind you.

Teachertracey, all my work is for sale, usually by the time I post it here, though, it's been sold or placed already.

here's a little end of day marble with an indonesian barong I popped out of the flame the other day, a fumed pendant and another pendant using Joe Imler's glow glass. I'm always amazed at how untalented I am at taking photos

Just checking back in. Thanks for the compliments! I just wanted to say to FairyVerre that you don't have to anneal for long times with boro. I anneal at 1050 for 45 minutes, for all my beads.

8 hours annealing? something like a pendant you can soak at top for maybe half hour max and turn your kiln off and let it cool down by itself ... a good kiln should keep the heat pretty long. If you're using striking colours it'll take a bit longer at top for some of them. How big or complex do you want to get with the boro?
