Facebook definitely. I haven't sold anything on Etsy (finished pieces anyways) for years. I still list on there since it doesn't cost much, but the only thing I sell on there is books.
I have had much more luck selling on Facebook.

I need to get out the boro I bought and hook up my oxygen tank and at least melt some!

I agree, I think the most challenging. Can you share what is working for you these days? Looks like you conquered Red here. Your work is so inspirational, Rock On Mary!

Such beautiful work in here! I have just started into boro and am hooked on floral compressions! I'm doing mainly marbles at the moment. I have a question about the greens you all are using. I seem to have problems with them checking or bubbling. Any suggestions?
Here are a couple of mine. I dearly love doing bouquets And lately I have been making them into wine bottle stoppers.

Very nice Lezlie! Your right about the greens. I think the green from India works best, if memory serves me right, I've been off the torch for about a year. Maybe someone with current info will answer.

Thank you Penny! I just read post 211 about the greens! I have tried so many! MaryK is the Indian Green a Glastronics color or where do you find it?

Hey Lezlie, You might message Mary on her FB page for a quicker response. I think your right Glasstronic. Mountain Glass Art usually has a supply.

The Glasstronic deep green is getting very hard/impossible to come by. I just checked MGA, ABR and Glasscraft. Nada.

Seeing all this eye candy is really making me want to get my torch back up again faster!
This is certainly nothing new (probably about 7 years old at this point), but I think it fits the category. Pendant, frog used, fumed with silver (maybe a little gold, too), and backed by cobalt (I believe). Still one of my favorite pieces ever!

Hey you all
You are all more than welcome to like my facebook page, I check that much more often it seems than here.
https://www.facebook.com/Mary-Kenned...4618006575907/
Yes glasstronics green is gone. so sad, I am hoarding what I have which is not much. So is china white, for which there is no replacement, I have 20 lbs of that and it should outlast me as I just use tiny amounts but it is crucial to my designs. So many glass colors they quit making that I loved, it's sad. Right now the glass makers are focused on pipe makers, and those kind of glasses are not really what I'm looking for. For my reds I am having luck with china red and dragon's blood, or half blood that is backed by either carmel or white or one of the lighter slymes. I never ever use one color alone for my designs. every cane I make for petals or stamen are layered with at least 2 colors if not more. For green I am layering shamrock over carmel and it stays stable for me, but I make pendants, deeper compression for marbles sometime will check.
I just got a new torch this week! so excited to explore the possibilities with this torch. Here is my first pendant on the new torch

Looks like that new torch has been justified, beautiful. What torch did you get? I've been out of the loop for the past year, didn't even know about china white or India grn being phased out, so sad.
