Murrini Recipes
IT'S READY!!!! PRINTED AND READY TO SHIP TODAY, AUGUST 12TH!
I've been aksed by a number of people for my murrini recipes. I've not given any of them away but I've been debating whether or put together a "recipe card" in the format of a laminated sheet similar to Corina's Groundhog beads. It would include 4 formula's for my murrini, the tools I use, etc.
Would there be any interest for this?
Thanks!!!

Yes! I'd love it if it was a poster style not a book. I miss having stuff on my walls.

Yes, it would be a laminated, full color 8 1/2 x 11 "poster", if that's what you want to call it. Basically, I'd be making it so you can have it as a reference right next to you as you torch. The recipes would be right there at your fingertips.

Oh great! I'm so glad you guys (gals) think so! I've been tossing around this idea for a time now and finally got motivated to get started on this because someone here on LE really wanted some of the recipes BAD, lol. I've got the basic layout started and I'm working on it whenever I have a spare minute. I got a bunch of orders overnight so they are a priority but I'm looking at maybe I'll have it ready in a week, or less, hopefully!
THANKS FOR THE POSITIVE FEEDBACK!!!!!!!!!!!!

Teresa, they will most likely all be COE 104 as that is what I work with most. I have made some Bullseye murrini but I was just grabbing rods and didn't look at the names of the rods I used. Though I guess I could find them if I really needed to.
Good question!

I'm so glad there is so much interest!
I worked on this until midnight last night and I have one side finished and the other almost done. I need to print them off and see how they look and if everything fit's right, etc. get it laminated.

Just a thought Donna : )
As I'm in Australia, would you consider selling an e-poster? I have a laminator at home, so I could download your poster then laminate it myself?
Thanks,
Marianne.

Donna I LOVE that you are doing it in poster format, to me that makes it so much more desirable. I wish more people would do posters.

I should have it ready by Friday, I ran off a test copy today and the font was kind of funky so I needed to change it and I'll re-run another test tomorrow morning. As soon as the printer does the run I'll be able to see how it looks. I'll update again tomorrow.
FYI-this is not poster sized, it is a laminated 2-sided "cheat sheet" with formula's for some of my murrini on one side and a short tut on how I do it and some inspiration, tool list, etc. on the other side. Full color, professionally printed/laminated, and will be normal copy paper size, 8 1/2 x 11 so you can use it on your workbench as you are torching. Of course, if you want to hang it on your studio wall, you can do that too!

Free shipping sounds great Donna : )
It was more the postie shoving the letter size envelope in our letter box. Regardless of how large the DO NOT FOLD print is, they, in their wisdom, figure a large bend in the middle will go unnoticed!
It's okay, I'll order a laminated one from you, I was just aiming for an unbent one LOL!

Can't wait to see this when you are finished with it Donna.
As far as shipping overseas and getting one with a crease. I'm sure that Donna will do what she can on her end to try and prevent that. She is great as shipping and does an awesome job at packaging too!
