Default Natural Gas for GTT Lynx Questions

Hi All,

I am trying to figure out how to get natural gas for my torch- GTT Cheetah. I am in a commercial warehouse building and know that I need 5 PSI propane. How much pressure for natural gas do I need? I have 12 inches of water column (wc)? The plumber is asking for the BTU rating of the torch. I called GTT and let the tech talk to the plumber but I still don't have an answer.

Also need to be able to set up another torch station in the studio for a GTT Bobcat.

Thanks for any help,

Julie

27.71 inches of water is equal to 1 psi. Thus your 12 WC is in the range of less than .5 psi.

Contact Enstar as to what is available in a commercial setting as the city will defer to their judgment. And if they can go to 2 psi even better, but check on costs of meter and other items.
