Thanks, Rebecca - can't wait to see yours!
Thanks, Roo - all those in the pic are healthy so far; I tossed out the cracked ones, but I should've at least snapped a pic of them first.

I finally made some test beads.

First set are IL436 on off white base

Second is OP507 sparkle on off white base (maybe extra pale olive) with clear dots on top (no idea which clear)

The 507 & TAG Clarity bead that I made last week was fine yesterday and today it is cracked.

Oh, rats. I'm sorry to hear that. I've got some Zephyr on the way that Jed & Julie says should be compatible. I'll be trying it as soon as it gets here and I'll post the results.

Cool beads, Lara!

If you were asking me? I got mine at the Gathering. I didn't think I would like the sparkly ones so I went in halvies with another person and I got 3 rods only. AUGH.

Also on my speckled bead, I reduced the snot out of that glass.

Very pretty, Elizabeth!

Here are the beads I promised to post with the Zephyr I just got on Friday.
These are all OP-507 purple speckle with the Zephyr, nothing else added.
No cracking thus far - yay!

Oh! Jayne, Liz and Lara! Such pretty colors.

Just so I'm clear (and so I don't have to go back and re-read this entire thread) the TAG Clarity I just got is compatable with everything except maybe the experimental colors from DH??

I have encased goldstone with aurae to create sparkly stringer, there may be other ways to create sparkle/silver effects.

Thanks Meri. Clarity has been compatible with all the test colors. I did have one crack and haven't retested the combination yet, but it could have been user error or (more likely) the base color I used under the DH. Wish I could remember what base I used, it was a purple transparent I believe. Overall I have had excellent results with Clarity.

Ok, thanks Liz!! I love it...best clear ever. Well, that and DH, but Clarity doesn't turn any of my DH odd colors!

I had zero cracking issues with the speckled lusters. I used Clarity and Uroboros to encase. The one other bead that I thought had a crack didn't. It was an optical illusion. When I looked at it with a loupe I saw that it was fine.

Default Ossa - OP-507/OP-434 refined, resolved, and released.

We have successfully worked out the "issues" in OP-507/OP-434 (purple speckled luster),increased the amount of "speckledy-ness" and released the resulting color formula as "OSSA". It is tested compatible to tighter parameters than ever before, resists popping and boiling, and is chock full of purple speckledy goodness. Thanks to all of our customers and glass testers for offering us feedback on the test versions. Enjoy!

Every time I see this thread I think some lampworker with multiple ex-husbands is bragging about her latest new husband.
