Wondering if anyone has one of these for glass like Double Helix, Reichenbach (silver colors), Precision, TAG, etc.... Cause I'm tired of my beads going in beautiful and coming out baby shit. I've got a Paragon Bluebird kiln. Can anyone give me a silver glass annealing schedule?
Here are a few examples. The technique? Not too bad. The final colors? Not so good. Or I should say, not the colors I was looking for.

Turn down to at least 920. Do silver colors last as to not garage them and ramp on a normal schedule.

You should follow the instruction to test your kiln by turning down 10F at a time from your current annealing temperature. Also garage at 20F less than the annealing temperature to compensate for the spikes in temp. Hope this helps.

Hayley's blog really says it all, but let me just add that if you happen to have a JenKen kiln, they seem to run very hot. I got a pyrometer and mine was running 80 degrees hotter than the controller said it was. I've gotten much brighter colors from my silver glass after accounting for that issue.
