DH glass questions
1. Can anyone tell me about DH seconds? Is there something wrong with them?
2. What is Pandora like? Any pics?
3. Any cool test batches out there?
Thanks!

I buy seconds of Aether all the time and if they have other glass .. I grab it. I have not found anything at all wrong with any of the seconds from DH. LOVE THEM!!! Can't be of any help with Pandora or the test batches ... it's all I can do to get the "standards" to work right for me.

All the DH I use is seconds. They have very high standards. I imagine most glass manufacturers would call them firsts. Can't help you on Pandora. It is the only DH I haven't used.

Their seconds are perfectly fine. The WORST rod I have ever got from them was skinnier than the others in the lot. There was also one that was ever so slightly curved.
Their seconds are a joke. Buy them when ever you get the chance.

Here is what Jed and Julie say about their seconds:
Quote:
Our second quality rods are less than perfect in shape. They may be too large, too small, too short, chipped, twisted or have an inclusion. They have all passed both our compatibility test and our color test, just not our pretty rod test.

I think I once found a tiny bump in a rod of Aether.
