I've been robbed...someone stole my orifice. Where do I buy a new one?
Tonight I decided that perhaps my old hothead needed a cleaning because my beads seem to be getting too many streaks in them, and some beads are just down right charred looking. After unscrewing the crankshaft from the head, I notice that I no longer have an orifice. Any thoughts on where to acquire one?

Orifice Max or Orifice Depot?
Have you tried beadmakers@aol.com?

Hey! I am totally torchless now. I did screw up on something in my original post. It's not a crackshaft. I think it's a crookshank. Oh what the flark, I don't know what it's called. I have had such a wierd 24 hours.
$10.00 for an orifice is not an option as far as I am concerned. I consider that highway robbery. Might as well go buy a new hothead.

I found my orifice. Apparently the torch had enough residue on it to make it adhere to the head. As I removed it from the crookshank, it must have let go of the head just at the moment it was held over the floor. It ended up under the washing machine.
Today's mail brought me my acetylene regulator that I bought from Lynne, so now I have gone from "torchless" to having two torches.
I would still like to know where one can buy the orifice, at a fair price, in the event that I actually do lose it one day.

Plus you went from "orificeless" to having an orifice! What a great day for you

So...let me get this straight. You removed your torch from Hermione's cat and thereby lost your orifice? That is a strange 24 hours.
