murrini is spelled MANY ways. And it has not hit the dictionary yet.
murrine,murrina (singular), mirrini...
different cultures spelled it different.
I have a history of beads book; Murrini was commonly used as beads hundreds of years ago. The murrini was cut 3/8" or 1/4" thick and drilled from the side.
I do see some people slicing beads. Make a long bead, then slice it up, and have many.
