Raking & Masking Techniques
Creating Detail in your Beadwork
Level: Intermediate
In this 2-day Intermediate level workshop Amy will share her beadmaking techniques for creating the tiny details that make a bead stand out. She will break down the process of making finely detailed beads into small steps, so that you can slowly build up the details, layer by layer, to create your own intricate beads.
On day one, you will spend time honing your abilities with skill-building exercises in raking, dot application, heat control and shaping. The next day will be spent putting those skills together to create amazing works of art.
Applying these techniques will open up an extra dimension to the potential in anyone’s work. Some experience required. All materials provided.
