Default Kilns and the great outdoors

Hello all I just bought my first annealing kiln, a Jen-Ken Chilipepper. I have a garage studio setup with decent ventilation and I think I'm pretty good at home. My big question is I'm teaching a small lampworking class at a small local arts festival. I would be in a covered rec area with a full roof but no walls. The wind is minimal but I would like to bring my kiln so that I can talk about annealing and show some bigger work. There is a possibility of me moving to a small barn work area for the class instead. So I guess my question is could I do the class in this rooted in outdoor area which would be my preference for heat and space. Or should I just have them move me inside. Also what are the dangers of kiln use out doors, I will have electricity and my work bench with me

The kiln is the very least of your worries. The exhaust from your torch and the byproduct of high heat and the elements that make up your glass that are far more toxic. Work outdoors if the barn does not have ventilation designed for this type of exhaust.
