Default Hoses, tanks, winter, and -weather

Just curious about people's experience when it comes to their hoses and tanks, in weather that is minus 30 and such, and how well the equipment weathers.

Just to make it clear from the beginning... I will be using a window with hoses piped through it... and then disconnected when finished.

Door handy 2 feet away.

Window right buy door... also used for venting.

I am going to get a rubber maid to house the tank.

Is it best to disconnect the regulator and bring it in when finished?

Just take in the hose?

Leave the hose?

I imagine it might get around -30.... give or take. I have no problem going in and out no matter how cold it gets ( I will go out in my pj's and think nothing of it)... just not sure on what to do when disconnecting.

Any cold weather suggestions/opinions?

Az

Don't recall the exact temp but propane can get problematic at temps such as -30. I would consider some sort of heater in the rubbermaid to keep the propane warm. Heat lamp, heat blanket such as used in chick incubators, heat tape as used on plumbing pipes, etc.

I think -30 is the gods saying "don't live there!"

If only we could split the difference between your winter and my summer...
