This is the transparent yellow. Not the citrine and not the yellow gold. I fell in love with this color.

Now that is a bead that you can almost taste!
Okay everyone, post different colors you like to work with! I'll re-post gorgeous Dark Transparent Rose(with a wonky center)! To me it's just like Rubino Oro, without the Mazarati price tag.

These are some of the beads I made with Devardi Glass... I have been lampworking for only about 1 & 1/2 months, so please forgive the crudeness of my beads... Any in put would be appreciated... Sorry for the size of the pics, I haven't figured out how to small them down yet.. I think I did good just to get them up and posted...

Houjke,
Here's a link to the Devardi Work Gallery on this site. You might enjoy seeing what people are making with the glass. We also post our work here, because most people read here first.

Hi Houkje and welcome to the thread !! You are doing fine with your pictures Nice work, and if this is what you can do after only several months....you're gonna be a superstar!! I wish I had started out using Devardiglass from the beginning, I was not able to master dots or stringers until I started using this because of it's stiffness. I was able to learn to control everything because it melted slower....You are doing GREAT !!

Nothing new to post because the sun won't come out for me I need that bright light to get good pictures, and I have lots to photograph ....I've been busy!!
I'm crazy for every single purple in the Devardi line. I would be hard pressed to pick a favorite.... The transparent roses, also, to die for colors..oh, who am I kidding, I'm just a nuts for the glass in general and can't think of a color I don't like....

And the glass and colors are out of this world, not to mention the price .. Being on a fixed in come, this glass and Natasha are truly a god send...

I have! It reminds me of the old Coke bottle green--just my impression. I've made really huge beads with this, and since the color is not heavily saturated, the bead is still recognizable as a green.

That is the color I want then! Thanks! I think this would look great around a core of white, encased in clear and then etched.

I have a rod of it and it's crystal clear - very nice. I haven't worked with it yet. Be sure to post what you make with it!

Triangles Anyone
Well, I was sitting at the torch thinking of fun things to do with random rods of glass as we wait for the coming shipment, and TRIANGLES came to mind. I saw this fabulous set of triangles made and posted on LE by Freddie ( http://www.lampworketc.com/forums/sh...ight=triangles) - it's what inspired me.
There are endless color combinations possible! Here's my first kinda fuzzy attempt in greens to start.
Anyone else want to make some? Post pictures if you do! I know we would all want to see them!

Your first attempt is great! I tried triangles once.....kinda looked like a crashed space ship. Very sad.
I agree-tons of color combos could come from those. Puts my brain spinning. If you make more please post them!
Just a few more days awaiting the arrival of the new glass!
