I just bought a bunch of boro in rod and tube and some basic color. Only thing is waiting until Tomorrow to melt some of it.

I think that Tonight I'll attempt to make a boro heart out of clear. If that works I'll try the NS Amber Purple, and maybe the TAG Leprechaun. Gotta make room in the studio to break down 5ft long tubing before I can work with that.

Roy - We should get together and play someday. I think you are only an hour or so away from me. We could recruit Laura too (since she's not too far too!)

I'm just West of Williamsport by about 20 minutes. I believe that you are in the greater Reading Area?

Cori, it's closer to 3 hours, the PA Ren Faire at Mount Hope is 2+ hours with traffic.

What is your goal with boro? Beads?Pendants? Pipes?
I started with beads ( and melted a lot of mandrels in the process) and now
mostly make pendants. I have worked with tubing, but that is a
whole different process.

I got together with Cori and Laura and it was great. Cori is awesome with the flower implosions. We should do that again sometime Cori.

Most likely marbles and ornaments, that's what I do now with soft glass. With the tubing it gives me things I cant do in soft glass, like tubing implosions.

My first project. I made a 12mm ball on the end of my Amber Purple, AND I GOT IT TO STRIKE! It's got a haze on it but IT STRUCK!
