Default What glass is this?

Brain fart...I cannot think of what glass this is. I have a feeling it's an obsolete Vetrofond and I need it for my new Italian Mushroom sets...it's so mushroomy!

The translucency and the color changes kind of remind me of a CIM Ghee Unique. Are you positive it's a Vetrofond?

Yes. There were two that were very similar, and both are gone from places I know to look.

I have both V Pale Avacado ODD and E Green Avacado and in rod form it looks more like the Green Avacado. I'll melt both today and take a pic for you. If it turns out to the the Pale .... you can have it. I've never used a rod and am guessing I never will!!! It's got to be at least 3 years old ... before I had good sense not to buy up EVERY ODD out there.

Liz, River Rock is more opaque.
I think I figured it out. It's Golden Toffee. When it's made into a larger bead, it's more dense looking, but made into a spacer it has that transluscent color.
Thanks everyone for your input!

Could it be Effetre/Moretti 508 goes both opaque and translucent? one of my favorites.

I'm pretty sure it's Golden Toffee...but that Yellow Opalino looks great. Think I'll get some!

There's a great Check glass that's like that. I think it was an ivory opalino type check glass. I have some....... Oh wait .....it does come out a bit more ivory.

Lauscha had some nice milky way glass that was like that too.

Yeah, yellow opalino. Just don't cook it too long. It'll start getting sooty looking. And it doesn't seem to like other glass colors much. Good luck and keep it cool!

Yellow opalino is why I get so confused when people rave about Opal Yellow...

The second pic made me think Lauscha too -- maybe buckhorn.

I like..if that's Golden Toffee, then I am in the need of some Golden Toffee.
I've used buckhorn, but I've never seen it work up like I'm seeing in those shots. Same sort of color but this seems more translucent. I'm seeing a lot of great organic style beads with this..
