Default Options for canister storage

Hi - I have a problem (I think). My boyfriend got me a hot head torch kit as a present, but we live in an apartment, and I'm really worried about storing MAPP gas here. There's no garage or shed, and if I put it outside, the apartment complex people will just remove it and probably yell at me. I live in Virginia, so storing it in my car (the only other place I have) seems like a bad option, since my car warps things in the heat.

Is there any safe way to store this stuff in a living space, or should I maybe postpone lampworking until I have a house (in a billion years)?

Thanks in advance,

-Lis

You can keep a maximum of 2 one-pound cannisters indoors. I'd suggest you stick with that.

It would be a Very Bad Idea to even consider going to a bulk tank (20 pounds or more) in an apartment.
