Default hose question

I went and purchased my regulator and hose, told him the hose should be a T grade, now I am looking at it and it says Grade: R, do I have the wrong hose?

Yes..... "R Grade" and "RM Grade" is for Acetylene only. While it will work, it will break down premature (as compared to Grade T) and over time it'll start loosing particles of the inside liner that may cause problems clogging torch valves and tips. Also in time hose becomes stiff and brittle and over time will leak through hose wall.

The following descriptions are for reference only. You have to make the decision whether want to use it or not.
