Smile Pearls, Can anyone suggest good source

If anyone has experience buying pearls and was happy with the service and quality they received I would very much appreciate any suggested sources. If they are a source for other jewelry making components and tools as well I would love to hear about them. If you have dealt with Fire Mountain I would like to know how you would rate them.

Thank you

Andrea, I buy almost all my jewelry making tools and most of my findings/crystals/pearls from Rio Grande. If you have a Michael's anywhere within reasonable driving distance, they will often have a sale on beads of all sorts that make the price almost as good, and you can actually see/feel them to determine quality.

Thank you for the suggestion about Rio Grande. Do they require that you be a wholesale level buyer or have some kind of minimum? I've been with Ed Hoy's for a long time and since they have redone their pricing strategy and are now retailing they're a bit pricier than they were when I started. There are a couple of Michael's not too far from me so I'll also check them out. The idea of being able to actually see and touch before buying a bunch of stuff would be helpful.

Andrea, I've been buying from Rio for a long time, but I don't recall them ever asking for a resale tax #. They've never required a minimum. And they're very easy to deal with.
