Default I need to know why?

Everyones wep pages seem to fill my screen when I look at them. Unless you are with Papashop. All of ours seem to be just a narrow column down the center. I have been told there is no way to change this. So why? Can't they change some "thingies" ( new tech word lol ) in the what ever so we could get something that looks halfway decent

I'm guessing that you're talking about what's known as a "flexible" template as opposed to a fixed-width template... lots of web pages use fixed-widths, and when you look at packages like Drupal, ZenCart and WordPress, there's usually a variety of templates of either sort, depending on the designer. I almost always design flexible, and some people exclusively design fixed. flexible is certainly more challenging.

I wouldn't recommend changing the width of your present template. since the header image is a narrower width I think it would end up looking strange if the columns weren't underneath it.

you're welcome again

coffee sounds like fun! I have to move soon so things are up in the air and I won't be able to do any weekend excursions for a while, but let me know if you are ever in east Portland, I will certainly make the time! we can do some live show and tell!

OK Will Do. I make it up to the "big city" now and then. A live show and tell sounds great
