Default What do you do with the shards?

Ok, so I have a bunch of lovely DH shards, I have done a search on here for what to do with them.. All I get is recipes and tutorials on how to make them.
Lovely as they are, and as cool as they seem to be to make, I am not sure what I should do with them, once I have made them...

Short of crunching them up to make frit? And that seems pointless...

I would love to see what others are doing with them, or, links to tutorials as to what to do with these pretties? Please?

A quick way to find some info is a google search for "how to apply shards on glass beads". A few good Youtube presentations show it in detail, including some by Brad Pearson. On my tablet, so couldn't copy the Youtube links directly, but here is a video demonstration on a regular website that may help: http://ccglassart.com/2015/02/26/gla...rk-bead-video/

I often find it easier to do searches on Google instead of LWE, and the listings then include the LWE threads as well as other resources.

You can lay them out on a marvering pad and roll your hot bead over them.

That lets you apply them as uniformly thin patches of 'frit' to get interesting color combinations as well as patterns and for raking.
