Default Thinking of making a tutorial

I enjoy lampworking but I find myself making tools and gadgets for lampworking almost as much. A couple of months ago I had an idea to make (Not sure what to call it) custom pin frogs.

How its used: Create a maria, warm the face to a dull glow, then press onto the pins. This leaves dimples in the face of the maria. Depending on what your goal is - you can use the dimples as a guide for placing dots or drawing. Or, do an air trap implosion that starts out with whatever shape you want.

So, my question is - would anyone be intersted in a tutorial that gives the process to make these?

Perhaps a visual presentation of the finished product would give a better idea of what you are using your design for.

Sounds good to me! I think it's a FAB idea! And I'm picturing how neat a "trapped bubble" marble would look with the bubbles in a heart shape As Shrimp suggested, though, if you have a finished product "promo" pic., I'd love to see it!

Here are a couple pics to show you how it could be used. The artist that did the marble didn't do the best job (me). The Shell shards are from Samma Parcels.

Val - Thank you and yes I have seen that. It does look like a wonderful tool, indeed. I have never used one though. My assumption is that to make shapes (like a heart) you would need to follow the "grid" pattern in the tool which may make a "blocky" looking heart. Or circle, or anything with curves. Plus, I just enjoy making things myself which is why I came up with the method for making these.
