What beautiful families! Thanks for sharing those!

Yeah, got my order in.

Boo, no more super fantastic dichro.

Yeah, got everything else I wanted.

Natasha, I put a note on my order about the last batch of clear and the email we exchanged.

I'm looking forward to the really, really unique glass that no one else has anything close to!

Boo Hoo!

Hubby and kids kept me from ordering last night - and I thought SURELY with 6 tons in I can get up early and order...

The D7 Rose glass and ALL the solid Luster Rods and Twisties are gone...

Live and learn!

I did place an order for other things, so I will wait patiently for the next go round! How wonderful that they are getting this type of business. It means we will have it available for years to come!

I got my order in, it was quite small really, bits and pieces. A tool, some other silver stuff like frit. Not a heap of glass as I haven't used much of what I got last time. No pink either, don't use much of that so I don't think I ordered anything much that was on a lot of wishlists. I need a medal for my restraint really....anyone offering?

Cheers

Hi Kristina. I've just been on the site after reading your post, and was still able to add the D7 and aventurine etc to a shopping cart. It doesn't say that they are sold out. Does it only tell you when you go to checkout? I put my order through first thing this morning (last night your time, when the site went live) and paid for it all, but now I'm wondering if I'm going to get an email saying that some of what I've ordered is sold out. Any information appreciated

Kristina, are you going in through the sale page? Those still show as available to me. If you are just going on the regular page that might be it.

THANK YOU ALL! I'm so excited - I did a hard-refresh on the Newsletter link when I got to the site and all the things were still there! My computer was bringing up the old page without the BUY buttons!

HAPPY DAY! I just ordered everything I want! I really appreciate you telling me or I would have stayed in the dumps for a while and lost the chance!

Here's what I made last night with their gorgeous blue. It is such a pretty color!

Can't wait to get my order thanks to you all!

No, I was out so I used the mostly clear effetre with goldstone stringer (on the left).

I can hardly wait to make one up using Devardi's Goldstone Adventurine! The one on the right is Devardi's regular Adventurine Goldstone, encased with clear and pulled into a stringer.

BIG difference, isn't there! AND it's less expensive! Joy!

I keep going over my order lol to make sure I didn't miss anything. The only thing I didn't get was the new dichro but I have spent my limit and will have to wait until next time to try that. I did get the coppery black, some of the lipstick and the butterscotch italian marble. Oh and the frog green! Oh I can't wait to try this stuff lol.

I did get a couple of rods of the aventurine for pulling stringer too. I often use a bit of aventurine in my vine pulls.

Thats good to know Kym, maybe post a she pic for those of us prone to assuming!

I am so excited to get all the new goodies... we all have to show what we do with them. To occupy myself I started making beads with all the scrap transparents I have left. NOW I want several of them - especially that pale green - it worked up SO lovely! I'll post when I get them out of the kiln and cleaned up.

I'll reorder in a few weeks when I get this one paid for!

Ummm, so I just got my shipping notification and the weight is 31lbs. It's gonna be like Christmas around here in a week. I was bummed though as one of the colors was sold out, Tr. light purple, was looking forward to that one, but I'll have plenty of others to play with!

I bought some of the gold aventurine among a ton of other stuff. Why do you have to encase in clear prior to pulling into stringer? I've never worked with it before. But I couldn't resist buying it. It looked so gold.

I encase with clear to intensify the sparkle, and to protect the gold adventurine from burning....I'm working on getting pictures posted right now. One of the beads I'm posting has lots of adventurine in it...

Glasslass2, besides what Babyfirefly is saying, if you don't encase it, Adventurine Goldstone turns dark in the flame. And you can use much higher heat on it when it is encased too.

Pull a thin stringer of clear, preheat the Adventurine rod, and wrap about 1" of the end of the rod with the clear. Then melt the clear together over the Adventurine rod and THEN pull stringers using another rod you attach like a Punty, or using your needle nose pliers (which is what I do).

Here's a bunch of my transparent odds and ends made into beads, and the latest goldstone Bear and Kitty. Unfortunately, I didn't pay attention to the hole smoothness on top of the Kitty! Live and learn!

Wow! That was a fast delivery! I was done ordering 12 minutes after the page was published Friday night and haven't even seen a shipping notice yet. Maybe I'd better check and make sure my order even went through...

I love the transparent orange color in the middle of that focal bead and the crystal beside it. Very bubbly though, eh?
