Default Bethlehem Alpha vs Carlisle Mini CC

I presently work on a mini CC but I'm planning to buy a second torch for my daughter to use. I'm very happy with my mini CC, but was wondering if I should consider buying an Alpha as my second torch instead of a second mini CC. I work off of propane and at 15 concentrator. I have already purchased a second 15 concentrator for my daughter to use.
Any information is appreciated. We both primarily use soft glass and don't plan on doing any boro other than an occasion boro bead.

I have both - and i thing the alpha would be a worthy addition to your family - very different to the mini cc. The flame is much tighter but hot so great for more detailed work without letting things get too cool . Nicely adjustable to a small tight flame too.
Not as bushy as the mini cc but equally hot.
I love my alpha and wouldn't have anything else
Hope that helps
