New studio help please!
Hey everyone!
Ignore the mess please. The wooden frame around the window that used to be where the fan is now, was rotted to hell.
Wondering if this 745 cfm fan would be sufficient as is, or if I should build a barley box around the inline fan.

Echoing yellowbird, depends on how far away your torch will be--I'm only using a ~280 CFM fan and it works fine, but my flame is pointed into the duct. My fan is mounted outside, similar to Whit Slemmons' tutorial ( http://www.andreaguarino.com/read-me/). One advantage to a "barley box" is that you could put a light in the top.

Build the box, it'll work much better.
