Pearl Effect Help
Hi! Do you know if there a soft glass that looks like pearl? I'm looking for a color that is mainly white with a soft pink pearly iridescence.
I searched online but didn't see anything that stood out other than maybe an enamel??
Thanks!!

Do you mean like the pearly shampoo glass look?
These are made with the Reichenbach Mystic colors.
The wraps are Mystic Beige, and the bases are Mystic Pink, Purple, & Green.

I agree with Jayne on the Mystic Colors, they might work, if your looking for white maybe Marshmallow by CIM?

I was thinking less transparent....more mother-of-pearl. I have not tried the Reichenbach Mystic colors. I don't recall seeing it where I usually shop. Who carries it?
I did eyeball the marshmallow yesterday, though...I thought it would make a good base color for the pearl. And, I'm always in the mood to buy more glass.

you might want to try some pixie dust, there's an opal-pink color that might be what you're looking for....flamedame has a bunch of different colors.

I went window shopping and found the other Reichenbach Mystic colors. There is a Pearl Pink and a Pearl Beige that I can try.
I appreciate the help!!

Vetrofond Vanilla Ice aka Lemon Ice is pearly. Don't forget your Opalinos too. And Reichenbach makes a 104 Pink Pearl in addition to Mystic Pink. I am just down on Reichenbach 104 right now because of the lack of color consistency. First Silver Brown went pale yellow, almost clear, and now the lovely dark fuchsia Pink Lady is a watery pale amethyst.

the pearl beige and pearl pink have more of a "shampoo" or mother of pearl look to them then the mystic beige or mystic pink. they all do the same thing but the pearl colors are a bit more prominent.
Here's a pic of the newest colors out.

I guess this wasn't the labeled pic but starting from the mystic yellow moving right are..
Mystic orange
Mystic Red
Mystic Blue
Pearl Violet
pearl beige---much more pearly then the mystic beige
porcelain--kind of like a grey white to me
mystic coral---seems to be the hot seller at the moment. Goes from an orange to a very deep coral (sometimes looks red or garnet)
Soft Violet and
Pearl pink...again a bit more prominent then the mystic pink
