Mr. Smileys and Cosmo's + your Favorite boro colors?
I'm just about done with this studio sale but want to be sure not to sell all my boro, and still being somewhat new, ( I know I love amber purples, and butterscotch)! I would like suggestions of what colors to save. I have GA and NS. Somewhere Mr. Smily and I think Cosmo listed their favorite colors. I would like to know your 10 favorite colors ( Not clear) that if you only had 10 or 15 colors to work with you would choose, Thanks so much! Sheila

i only included colors i like from GA & NS for the most part, but i use a lot of momka too.
a black (i usually use ns onyx)
a white (i like ga sno white or borostix white)
a ruby (or two).. whatever you like best)
a cobalt (i like to have a lighter & a darker cobalt)
ns blue moon
ns caramel
ga amazon night
ga disco sparkle
ns jade
ns blue spruce
ga amazon bronze

My boro faves... I don't think it's a simple question, because different boro is better for different purposes. Some blow better than others (hard to strike colors), some sculpt better than others (stiffer), some are better for beads than others (softer), some are better for marbles than others (less spread), so fav's for which purpose?
That said, I think the prettiest silvers, translucent, or transparent (not crayon) colors (not suitable for all purposes):
Red - Momka American Beauty or NS Pomegranate
Yellow - NS Yellow or GA Warm Yellow
Orange - tequila sunrise
Pinkish Red - Momka Violet Hue, GA Coral Blush
Black - GA Raven
Opal Black - GA Amazon Night, GA Black Pearl
Caramely - GA Silver Strike 5
Blues - NS Blue Moon, GA Havana Lite, Momka Alaska Thunder
Greens - Precision Silver Seaweed, GA Dragon Eye (both make other colors depending)
Sparkly Green - NS Moss, Precision Mother of Green Pearl
Purples - GA Triple Passion, NS Amber Purple, Precision Silver Creek, Purple Luster
Opaque Sparkles - Loch Ness, GA Disco Sparkle
Tranparent Sparkles - Irrid or Turquesa

Clear
I also use a lot of Silver Strike 5 powder, Ruby powder, Clear powder, and Onyx powder.

I have hoarded it all but am going to be living "on the road soon", or put more realistic, homeless, and need to lighten up the load. I had just started working with it with my dear friend Deb c. when I left Oregon, and am keeping a small supply for when I get back to her.
