Hearts for Grandma...
My grandma has advanced Alzheimer's. I got a call from my mom on Friday that they are moving her to hospice care because she can no longer swallow. Basically, we don't expect her to make it past this week.
I want to go see her, I am trying to get a ticket booked for Tuesday, so I am trying to get money together.

Corridawn - These are beautiful, I've ordered one - thank you! My healing support to you. Your grammy's heart will always be connected within yours. Thx for sharing your heart expression with others. LE was a guiding light for me when I struggled to overcome not being able to talk after 2 back to back brain surgeries in 2010. (I used to sit and read posts/look at pics to inspire me to get stronger and get back to the torch. I could "talk" to others even though I could not in person. LE was liberating for me!) I have healed, have torched a lot and am a very grateful LE user on a weekly basis. Thank you for connecting glass artists to support eachother! The world is a happier place with your forum in it! -

She is in California up near Fulsom. Looks like I can't go until next Monday.

I was asking because I was going to try to help you with transportation if she were more southern CA. She may still have a few breakthrough moments of clarity, It looks like my Dad is now headed towards alzheimers - he keeps thinking I am my mother, etc.
Please do not be alarmed when you see her. She may have changed drastically but will still appreciate the love. My mom loved music, perhaps if she has some special songs she likes you can play them for her.
