Default oxy/ propane ques.

I have a nortel minor. I run my oxy/con on 4 and my propane on 3. Why i have no clue, lol. i moved about 6 months ago and it just seems weird my torch flame. I looked up nortel and info but it seems everyone runs different. Wanted some help from other nortel minor users to see what they r running their oxy/ propane on. Thanks for everyones input and help.

I have my oxycon set just under 4.5 and the regulator for my propane is about 6, then I adjust my flame at the torch. I have heard about people saying the propane should be less than the oxy, but that makes no sense to me since I keep it dialed down at the torch to where it needs to be, and when I tried it at 3-4 I didn't get a stable flame.
I called Nortel to ask about having problems with the flame, keeping it lit & burning stably, and he told me to turn it up at the regulator.

A lot of regulators don't do well under 5psi. They were not made for such a low pressure. Most work well between 5 and 15 psi.
