kiln question: what temp should I garage my beads at?
I have batch annealed up to now, but I got this bead kiln and this is going to be the first time I use it.
What temp should I put it on to stick the beads in there while I'm making more?

I garage all of my soft glass at 960, after a few minutes, or a few more beads, they can easily be stacked or touch each other, unless they have enamel.

I have an Arrow Springs kiln and the preset annealing schedule has a garage temp of 960. I use mostly Effetre, Uro, and 96 coe frit, for what it's worth.

Assuming you mean 104COE glass.....my garage temp is 950 - the kiln came programmed that way. I think you can do any temp from about 940 up to 970 - or thereabouts.

Thanks, I used it last night and as far as I can tell the beads came out right!
