A good frit color recipe book is Lori Robbin's and Rocio's.

It depends on how deep you want to get into it. Bandhu Dunham's book is great, but if you are mainly doing beads and such, there is probably a lot of information you'll never need. Still, it's a great read for people interested in glass.

Another good book is Flameworking by Elizabeth Ryland Mears.

Homer Hoyt's "Glassblowing" is a very good book. It takes you through the techniques step-by-step.

Where can you buy Lori's book? Somewhere other than Amazon I'm assuming.

Lori's book is out of print right now, but she is having some more done. Go to her website and ask to be put on the list. Otherwise, you can post a "wanted to buy" on the garage sale, or check out some of the suppliers. It is just a pamphlet, but it has a lot of great info in it. (The one supplier I found who had it wanted half the cost of the pamphlet just to ship it, so I went elsewhere.)

I just got one from Generations Glass, which was why I wanted the yellow frit. They all look sooooo yummy. Now if I could just make them like that...everythin g would be just fine.
