Unhappy Skin problem due to heat

I have developed a skin condition that where I live is called cuperose. My cheaks get really red and pimples may appear. In my case it is triggered by heat, sun or torch. I am an 80th girl so I unfortunately started the process in my youths with to much tanning. Does anyone else have this problem and if so how have you dealt with it? Do you think adding a ptotective glas/screen might help?

Thanks in advance,
Helena
