Hi Everyone... Sorry I have not posted in while... Great beads everyone.... ...I haven't had much time at the torch lately, it's summer and there are just not enough hours in a day....
Here is a bead I made the other day that I am very proud of... This is my first successful trapped air bubble... The petals are a stringer I made with D25-Transparent Yellow and D13-Transparent Sunset Red... Love the shading effect I got in the petals... Sorry about the quality of the picture...

Good Morning to all...

Kristina & Paula... Thank you for the kind words...

Kristina... Love the froggie pendant, he really pops on the Cranberry Red... Is that the dark or the light cranberry???
How is the tut book coming??? Please let us know when it is up for sale, I would like very much to get a copy...

Paula... That frog is just tooo cute with his tongue sticking out.... I haven't tried the Lipstick Pink yet, but I think I just might have to... That is just the right pink for piggies... What did your little girl bunny do that she is blushing so??? She is just adorable...

Bethany, those sets are SO pretty! I can't get on the torch lately - due to kids and the BOC Workbook, and you posting those is such a joy to see! I'm having beadmaking withdrawls, so please post more as you get them done! Just beautiful!

Bethany great sets. I love them all but my fav is the light green base set. They remind me of water color paints.

It has been quiet here. What has everyone been making? Or is it too hot to torch?

I reworked the Fatty Kitty bead, and have been making samples for the Beads Of Courage Workbook. And if any of you want to contribute orphan beads send them to me by Aug. 15 for the shipment deadline!

They use regular beads like spacer beads to encourage a child each time they have blood drawn, or some miserable smaller procedure, and they give red or purple hearts when the child completes a needed treatment program. Butterflys are given to a parent who loses a child.

SO if you have beads you aren't going to make use of send them to me! Natasha at Devardi sent me a large collection of their sample beads, so let's try to match her generosity!

AWESOME! I will look forward to them! It's so kind of you to do this and go out of your way to send them.

Thats neat about your son being here, but I'm sorry it's during a terrible heat wave! 110 heat index today (Friday)!

He is five minutes from the beach so I am sure they are having a blast.

Hello ladies! Had a success I wanted to pass on. I was using dark trans purple with raku frit. Really brings out the colors in the raku!

Bethany that is gorgeous. Love it!!!! Me and Raku are not speaking at the moment we are not getting along at all. I really think Raku needs to go to therapy.

That's lovely Bethany! Not sure if I showed this bead or not. Its all Devardi and encased in Devardi clear. I was very happy that it didn't crack because everyone says the reds and yellows and oranges don't like to be encased. (not Deverdi but other brands).

I think I have over 100 donation beads at present and climbing - VERY exciting!

I just finished these last beads for their Workbook... now it's a matter of getting the pictures worked over and the text done. I figured the basic heart would be best, because people will want to decorate it their own ways.
