Default Czech Glass has arrived!!!

Czech Glass has arrived!!!

We have our 6th line of glass freshly arrived in our store – beautiful glass from the Czech Republic. We’re just getting it up on the webpage now. Most of the pictures are in place. You’ll notice that the pictures include a paddle as well as a blown bead. We’re doing a LOT of blowing in our studio, and all of our flameworkers that blow LOVE this glass.

AND if you’re in the US – our prices are in Canadian dollars – your dollar is about 30% higher than ours - great discount just in terms of exchange. AND remember we offer volume discounts:

- 15% off all glass orders over 5 pounds *
- 20% off all glass orders over 10 pounds *
(* discount does not apply to Double Helix, Lauscha Tri's and packaged assortments, but all glass counts towards total poundage.)

What COE is the Czech glass and how much do you get for the price listed?

Hi Shauna, the prices are in pounds.

You asked about the COE of the glass. The easy answer is 103 to 113. The Coe's vary from transparents to opaques. The transparents fall around the 110-113 range, and the opaques start around 104 but can also be at go as high as 113. It's a glass to experiment with, with your own style. At our studio, we are blowing a LOT, and this glass is a dream to blow, so we love it. Hope that helps.

You need to test it first. There are some colors you can, and some you can't because of the variance in the COE. We will be posting the chart on our webpage later in the week.
