Default 20lb barbeque tank

Hello,
I was wondering if anyone could give me a ballpark guesstimate on how many hours one of those tanks would last running a small torch, say a Bobcat. Thank you.

Like castaway says, it depends. But, I will say ... I will go through 3 oxygen tanks for ever BBQ tank of propane.

I work on a mini-cc and torch about 15 hours a week, it lasts me like 5 months!
I just got a refill....some places have "down-sized" the quantity in the tank so check and see what your are getting!

20 lb tank is pretty big isn't it? I've always used 5 lb tanks, but I can't seem to keep track of how long they last. I tried to write it down this time, but lost track already. Oh well, my answer would be "a while." LOL

A 20 pound tank is the typical tank found on the ubiquitous BBQ in most back yards.... It holds about 5 gallons of propane........

Where a 5 lb tank only holds about 1 gallon of propane...
