Default What kind of Viking knitting techiq is used here???

Hello i have a picture of a viking knit chain,but i dont know if its a double knit chain and whould this be a 18-20 gauge wire because its thick.

I don't think it is Viking knit. It looks more like loop in loop where you weave fused fine silver rings together and pull it through a drawplate.
