Default Reichenbach Gold Violet Transparent Help

This stuff is so thick I'm having trouble getting it to melt into the surface of a bead - it too viscous - anyone have any suggestions for using this beautiful transparent color?

will it melt in in a reduction flame??? Sometimes the intense warmth works, and your gonna reduce it anyways...

Or try thinner stringers?
what color is your base? Maybe its that.

Just guessing here...

I had the same experience. This glass is sticky!! It doesn't like to flow. I made raised flowers with it over white dots and it worked pretty well, since the glass doesn't melt much into the base. I just had one rod from a sampler to play with.

Hi Linda, what is your set up?
It might have a bearing on this.

Hi, Ing. I have a Bobcat with oxycon and propane - I "can" melt boro if I want to. This glass just seems so stiff.
