Easy Heart

Step 1 Collect a ball of red glass on the mandrel.

Step 2 Flatten the ball into a disc and fire polish the chill marks.

Step 3 Hold one edge of the disc straight up and down in the fire

Step 4 Allow the glass to drip downwards to your liking.

Step 5 Let it cool slightly and turn the disc to the other side and repeat step 4.

Step 6 Enjoy the heart. Smaller ones make nice earrings with silver parts.

Be sure to go to the pointy end after completion to check for enough glass there and no sharp edges.
