Default Glass melted in port .😟

Hey guys, a glob of glass dropped on my torch face.. 1 port is still blocked after cleaning. Any suggestions how to get it out? Thx

Ouch! I've heard of gently heating and then dunking the port face into water, and then striking it a bit to help break it up. But you might have to send it in. Good luck

It was in 3 of the ports when I began.. I used your method as well as wire cleaning..still have 1 blocked.. thanks fo the reply!

In case anyone stumbles across this because they have a similar problem: Placing a hot torch face in cold water to “shock” trapped glass free from the torch will weaken the torch's connection sites. Metal expands and contracts when heated and cooled, therefore any connection site on the torch formed by fusing metals, will become weakened if the metals have been heated and then cooled rapidly (shocked). -- I found this info on this site: https://www.bethlehemburners.com/res...ning-procedure
