Default Striped and Sleeved Tubing Pulls

Did my first sleeved striped tubing last night. Came out nice. One was in alternating stripes of TAG Blue and Teal Blizzard and the other was TAG Heavy Blue Lep and Mighty Moss. I used heavy wall for both the inner and outer sleeves because it was what I had on the shelf. I am gonna guess the outer sleeve is best in medium or thin wall? Took a lot of time and heat to melt in and encase the cane since the outer sleeve was so thick. What thicknesses of tubing are generally used for this?
